Bonnie Caplan-Stroeder

Bonnie Caplan-Stroeder is a Family Lawyer who grew up in the Acton area, and from there she went on to get her Law Degree from York University and was then called to the Bar in March 1990

Her practice is restricted to family law issues such as: 

• divorce
• child and spousal support
• division of assets and debts
• restraining orders
• Opinion letters as  to the validity of foreign divorce judgments
• drafting of separation, cohabitation and marriage contracts

Bonnie Caplan-Stroeder does not practice child welfare law; matters where the Children's Aid Society  have commenced legal action.

Bonnie Caplan-Stroeder represents clients in both  the Ontario Court of Justice, which deals with issues of custody/access, child/spousal support, and restraining orders; as well as the Superior Court of Justice, which in addition to the same legal issues that the Ontario Court can deal with, is the court that you must proceed in if a divorce is being requested, and also if property issues need to be dealt with (property issues includes all assets and debts, pension, investments, loans, credit cards, etc.)

Bonnie is also a trusted Notary Public and has helped people make sure their documents are legally upheld in any court of law.
